About Us

We are Miguel Rodriguez and Carlos Quiroz, Founders and Principals of R.Q. Investigations. Unlike most firms, where the owners rarely engage in any field investigations, we regularly conduct field investigations ourselves. This results in quality investigations for our clients.

Miguel is a former United States Marine and has worked in the Private Investigation field under various licensed Private Investigators for about 20 years prior to obtaining his own P.I. License. Over the years he honed his skills in the art of intelligence and electronic and video surveillance. Due to his experience and integrity, our firm has qualified for licensure in New York and New Jersey and we currently have P.I. applications pending in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Virginia and North Carolina. Our pursuit for licensure in these States was brought on by the specific requests of our existing clients who have been impressed with the quality of our work in NY and NJ and have asked that we expand our regional coverage area.

Carlos’ work experience consists of a Personal Injury Paralegal for a large firm in Manhattan for 4 years; a Surveillance and Claims Investigations Manager for a Long Island based Independent Adjusting firm for 9 years, a Private Investigator Support Staff Member for 6 years and as a Casualty Adjuster for a TPA firm in Manhattan for 1 year. Due to this varied work experience, he has developed a unique ability to analyze a case or claim from various perspectives and therefore, he always instills a creative investigative strategy that provides unparalleled results for our clients.

We have purposely put together a culturally diverse field staff to mirror the “melting pot” population of New York and New Jersey. Our field staff consists of men and women of various races and ethnic origins. This diversity allows us to blend in any neighborhood without detection so we can get the job done.
